In this dynamic travel market, it is increasingly hard to drive bookings through our own direct channel. In order to promote our own channels, we need to be able to ensure our guests they will have the best deal when they book direct. I needed a way to monitor our rate parity across our brand and distribution channels, aiming for zero parity discrepancies, a tall order! My hotels have a distinct traveller profile with different length of stay averages and a unique distribution channel mix. I’m always looking for ways to maximise each distribution channel and leveraging every opportunity they offer.
