About Herodion and Philippos Hotels


HP Hotels & Restaurants is a privately held company, run by the same family for more than four decades. The Herodion (4-star) & Philippos (3-star) are located in the heart of Athens in the historic area of Plaka. These properties are situated just under the sacred rock of Acropolis and next to the thoughtfully designed Acropolis Museum. The Herodion features an elegant rooftop Bar & Restaurant and Gargaretta, a street Bistro that sits just across from the hotel.

Our properties are located in the centre of the Greek capital city, the “hottest," most dynamic zone of the Athenian tourism, and operate 12 months a year. As the competition grows and the demand changes rapidly, it is important that we are updated regarding prices and market developments  - which have to be monitored multiple times a day. 

Our guests usually visit us for leisure, business, city break, educational trips, and conferences. OTA Insight allows us to access price changes and gain a clear understanding of the market as we get direct and valid information.
